She first defines each category (creed, confession, catechism, and covenant), then with her concise, readable introductions she puts each selection into context as they relate to church history as well as world history. It’s an amazing achievement for this young lady. “Credo” can help Christian parents who are seeking to raise their children with a strong, vibrant, intelligent faith. This is definitely not a “light” read, but it will for sure have you re-examining your own faith and most likely help you to reaffirm where you stand. Nogginnose Press has assembled in one place creeds, catechisms, confessions and covenants of the Christian faith spanning nearly 1700 years. This book is a must for anyone who wants to know more about the history of the Christian church, but it is also a fascinating, informative and challenging read. Well done!
